CFG'S UNIVERSE MODE BACKGROUND:Edit

Welcome to the wiki for Catch Finish Gaming's Universe Mode that are streamed LIVE on twitch.tv/ryottime222! The shows are commentated by AC The God, Anderson Haze, and Gabriel Donovans and the creation of this Universe Mode is a continuation of their booking adventures of "T&A" and "WWE" on EWR (Extreme Wrestling Revenge). The brands are split up into "T&A sLamDown" owned by Anthem(formerly owned by Dana Brooke-White) and booked by Alex while "WWE SmackDown! LIVE" is owned by The Higher Ups and is booked by Shane McMahon along with AC The God & Gabriel Donovans. Both companies take developmental talents from the NXT Promotion where some of their current superstars are currently located and holding titles in. Both shows and NXT are all under the CFG company banner. Superstars under CFG, like Anderson Haze for example, and fans alike wear CFG branded sneakers created by AC The God himself.

  • Match 2: The Vaudevillians defeated The Kliq East via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match
  • Match 3: Edge pinned Chris Jericho and defeated Shawn Michaels via Pinfall in a Triple Threat Match
  • Match 4: NON TITLE: The Undertaker defeated AJ Styles(c) in a One on One Match

(Notes: The Stipulation for this match is that if Undertaker wins then he fights a superstar at Unforgiven for a shot at AJ Styles' title. But if he loses that match at Unforgiven then he loses his title shot to the man he loses to.)

This 6 Man Battle Royal main event already had 4 Men who earned their spots to be in this match but the other 2 were hand picked due to how good their match quality was the week before.

  • Match 5: Shinsuke Nakamura eliminated Big Show White in a 6 Man Elimination #1 Contender World Title Match.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles is a rematch of their Wrestlemania match from the WWE/EWR save. Now they will face in a Cage Match at Unforgiven for the WWE Title.

  • Match 2: Cedric Alexander defeated EC3 via Pinfall in a One on One Match
  • Match 3: Scott Steiner pinned Rich Swann and defeated Brian Kendrick via Pinfall in a Triple Threat Match

UNFORGIVEN (SD Live Exclusive) [5]Edit

Unforgiven

SmackDown's 1st Unforgiven logo.

Location: Anchorage, Arkansas

(Notes: PPV of the Year Candidate)

Coming into this PPV had many qualifyers and many viable competitors for AJ Style's title but Shinsuke Nakamura became Victorious at the end having to face AJ Styles in a STEEL CAGE!

  • Match 1: Chris Jericho defeated Cedric Alexander via Pinfall in a One on One Match

This match was dubbed "The Battle for the Nickname Lumbar-Check" and ended with controversary when Cedric Alexander's hand was visibly under the rope during the Pinfall. To this day it has not been acted upon. (3/7/17)

  • Match 2: IC TITLE: Triple H(c) defeated Edge and Tyler Breeze in a Ladder Match

(Notes: Rumors spread that Tyler Breeze's entrance video was pre-recorded due to his entrance video being in a different arena. Check the Episodes 3 Section to see if this was true or not.) Fans were visibly stunned as this match ended with Edge and Tyler Breeze letting HHH climb the ladder and retrieve his belt back resulting in a formation of a new stable with HHH as its leader. Especially when this was Tyler Breeze's rematch for the title from their WWE/EWR save.

  • Match 3: SD TAG TEAM TITLE: The Revival [Moking the Ascension](c) defeated The New Age Outlaws via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match

(Notes: Moment of the Year Candidate.) People did NOT see the ending to this match coming. Road Dogg was brought in by Billy Gunn and earned a contract and Tag Title opportunity because of it. But Billy Gunn took this match into his own hands by dropping a leg drop on Road Dogg which led to Billy Gunn leaving the ring letting Road Dogg get hit with the "Shatter Machine" to cost his partner the victory earning him the nickname, "That Son of a Bitch Billy Gun".

  • Match 4: Shawn Michaels eliminated Randy Orton in a 6 Man Elimination #1 Contender IC Title Match at Vengeance.
  • Match 5: CONTRACT MATCH: Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose via Pinfall in a Contract One on One Match

The winner of this match was able to bring in a partner of their choosing for a shot at the Tag Team Title at Vengeance. But the loser had to leave SmackDown Live! Seth Rollins partner of his choice was Roman Reigns (The Shield) and Dean Ambrose's partner was James Ellsworth (The Lunatic Chins). Ambrose was given the title "A Loser" when his SmackDown! Live contract was terminated. He is now in their developmental territory, NXT. AC The God reported that Dean Ambrose was trained by Dragon Ball Z star Piccolo, this rumor has not been denied.

  • Match 6: Big Show White defeated The Undertaker via Pinfall in a #1 Contender World Title Match at Vengeance.
  • Match 7: WORLD TITLE MATCH: AJ Styles(c) defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a Cage Match

This match was deemed one of the worst in CFG history until the main event of Judgement Day happened. But the amount of story progression and shock value that happened during the night made up for the quality of the main event.

EPISODES 3Edit

sLamDown:[6] Location: New Orleans, LouisianaEdit

This is the go-home show for T&A leading to their first brand exclusive PPV, Lockdown.

  • Match 1: Jeff Hardy vs EC3 went to a Double DQ by Count-out in a One on One Match

Finn Balor came out and told Hideo Itami that he "doesn't respect him" and he isn't his friend anymore. He called Hideo Itami out to give him a chance to "apologize to him" for beating his 2 weeks ago. Hideo answers this challenge saying "Yappity, Yappity, Yap" but Finn Balor confuses the fans by saying Hideo "interrupted" him when Finn obviously called Hideo out to apologize. Hideo told Finn to not come at him "Half-cocked" which brought these two men close to fighting but Hideo was the better man and saved the action for the fans at Lockdown.

  • Match 2: Kenny Omega def Bo Dallas via Pinfall in a One on One Match
  • Match 3: CONTRACT MATCH: The Bellas defeated Alexa Bliss and Carmella(not under contract) via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match

Before this promo, the announcement of Baron Corbin vs Anderson Haze will be a Mask vs Mask match. "The Heart of sLamDown" Anderson Haze, the former champion, comes out to address his feelings about Baron Corbin. He talks himself up and talks about, due to the Bullet Club, he has a target on his back. He challenges a competition to "any and all superstars in the back, most importantly Baron Corbin" to prove he is the greatest. He calls Baron Corbin lesser than him but comes of very very very cocky as the fans all get behind him.

  • Match 4: NON TITLE MATCH: American Alpha(c) defeated No Way Decay via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match

It was sadly spoiled by SmackDown! LIVE that we would be seeing Crazzy Steve take on ECW Legend Cactus Jack in a Contract Ladder Match at Lockdown. If Steve loses he gets labeled "A Jobber". But Gabriel Donovans blames NoDQ and sLamDown head booker Alex for the spoilers being fed into his earpiece.

  • Match 5: Samoa Joe defeated Scott Steiner via Pinfall in a One on One Match

SmackDown! LIVE:[7] Location: Nashnville, TennesseEdit

This episode is the fallout from the Unforgiven PPV where all your questions were be answered. Gabriel Donovans tells a story that Paige offered him some "Cocaine" in London, this rumor has been confirmed.

These next two matches were pre-recorded so that AC and Gabriel could commentate on the matches.

  • Match 1: Big Show White defeated Gabriel Donovans via Pinfall in a One on One Match
  • Match 2: Kane defeated AC The God via Pinfall in a One on One Match

(Notes: These two matches were asked for by The Kliq East themselves and they picked eachothers opponents.)

We found out before this episode of SmackDown Triple H's new team is called "The New Evolution". Triple H came out to address the fans as he targets HBK, the number 1 contender, saying that Shawn was praised the most in D-X when Triple H said, "I did all the work". While bringing down the entire roster to build himself up, he gave little info and made one hint at his new team by simply saying, "Oh yeah, I'm in a stable" while walking up the ramp.

  • Match 3: New Evolution defeated The Vaudevillians via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match

(Notes: The rumor of Tyler Breeze pre recording his entrance video was true. What a heel.)

Jack Swagger came out, making his debut, to address the fans in a promo that was a carbon copy of Anderson Haze's promo from sLamDown. He obviously came out just to mock the former T&A Universal Champion, Anderson Haze was seen visibly furious and cursing at Jack Swagger from the announce table.

  • Match 4: John Cena defeated Billy Gunn via Pinfall in a One on One Match.

At the end of this match, the revenge match between John Cena and Big Show White, the #1 Contender, was made to be in a Cage Match to settle the score.

House Show: Location: Glendale, ArizonaEdit

  • Match 1: Rich Swann defeated Heath Slater via Pinfall in a One on One Match
  • Match 2: BC B-Team defeated No Way Decay via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match
  • Match 3: Raven defeated Luke Harper in a One on One Match

LOCKDOWN (sLamDown Exclusive)[8]Edit

Location: Atlantic City, New Jersey

Attendance: 165,000 (rumored by Gabriel Donovans)

Real attendance: 20,000

Coming into this PPV we have seen what has to be the most personal story in CFG history, "Game Breaker" Baron Corbin taking on Anderson Haze, Mask vs Mask match inside 5 SIDES OF STEEL(Hell in a Cell). If Baron Corbin loses, he loses his Universal Title and is forced to wear a mask. But if Anderson Haze loses, his mask is officially off and he recieves his Universal Title back!

  • Match 1: Braun Strowman defeated Scott Steiner via Pinfall in a No DQ Match.
  • Match 2: TAG TITLE MATCH: American Alpha defeated The Ascension via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match.
  • Match 3: Samoa Joe defeated Rhyno via Pinfall in a One on One Match

(Notes: This match sparked the rumor that this isn't the real Rhyno due to not having any tattoos or logos on his entrance gear, this rumor has not been debunked yet.)

  • Match 4: CONTRACT MATCH: Cactus Jack defeated Crazzy Steve in a Ladder Contract Match

(Notes: Moment of the Year Candidate.)

This match has made Crazzy Steve the label of a "Jobber" on the sLamDown roster due to the Booker Alex, and the Owner Dana Brooke White not wanting to let him go of his contract. It was revealed that Crazzy Steve was trained by Finn Balor due to his similar entrance and same exact move-set namng his finisher, "The Steve de Graw". Steve and No Way Jose had an argument about the match before it started where Jose said, "Should you take this match? NO WAY!" and Steve replied, "Fuck you, I'm doing it." This argument happened after the roster gave him his "Don't be a jobber" goodbye cards.

  • Match 5: CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Finn Balor def Hideo Itami via Pinfall in a One on One Match

Before this next match, it was planned to be Eva and Auska vs Bayley and Becky Lynch but due to the Bella Twins having a fallout on Total Divas, they were placed on opposite teams to settle their differences.

  • Match 6: Asuka pins Bayley, the Women's #1 Contender, in a 6 Women Tag Team Match.

Asuka used some new tactics that some people found dirty by using her smelly feet to daze Bayley before she got pinned while Nikki Bella and Eva Marie guarded the Pinfall.

  • Match 7: T&A UNIVERSAL TITLE MATCH: Anderson Haze defeated Baron Corbin via Pinfall in a 5 Sides of Steel Mask vs Mask Match.

(Notes: Moment of the Year Candidate.)

This main event was one of the best to happen on a televised CFG show. Unlike the SmackDown! Live PPV, the midcard was sub-par with some shining moments, like Cactus Jack, but the Main Event was the highlight of the show. Also Anderson Haze wore a brand new pair of AC 69's V2 in this match and did a cocky salute to AC The God sitting at the table commentating the match. Still to this day, we don't know why he did it. So we still have to wait and see where that goes. This win also made Anderson Haze the first ever champion to hold the same title twice in the CFG company.

When Anderson Haze's mask was taken off, he had another mask on under his original one. But it was quickly removed the following night on sLamDown with a new look and attitude. Baron Corbin was then forced to wear a Bane styled mask from Batman: The Dark Knight RIses after losing his title match.

EPISODES 4Edit

sLamDown:[9] Location: Anaheim, CaliforniaEdit

Cactus Jack started the show following his victory against Crazy Steve, making his T&A TV debut. He turned his back on the T&A fans saying that "Opportunity is knocking BANG BANG!" and told the fans that he is siding with the "Authority". People were very confused as to why he was saying these things and what this "Authority" group is. He said it was "a new era for him".

  • Match 1: Samoa Joe defeated Rhyno via Pinfall in a One on One Match.
  • Match 2: Bayley defeated Asuka via Pinfall in a One on One Match.

(Notes: This match was the end of Asuka's winning streak, and due to this loss, the match at Judgement Day is now a Triple Threat match for the T&A Women's Championship between Asuka, Bayley and Becky Lynch(c).)

Anderson Haze comes out to address the fans following his win as the new T&A Universal Champion at Lockdown. He called out Adam Cole calling him a "bucker-boy" and a "COO COO Baby" leading to people, like AC The God, to think he was calling out the Red Rooster. Adam Cole, Bullet Club Leader, made his first appearance in sLamDown history and wasnt seen since EWR's Impact brand. Anderson Haze challenged him to a match in the main event saying "you ready to dance big boy?" then offered him to a literal dance session because hes "feeling freaky tonight." Anderson Haze ignored all things Adam Cole said by spitting insults at Adam Cole. After some more insults, the two men did not come to blows and the match was made official for the main event later that night.

  • Match 3: No Way Decay defeated The Ascension via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match.

(Notes: No Way Jose got the pin so technically, Crazy Steve is STILL a jobber and did not get a win.)

Heath Slater made his way to the ring saying that he needed a new partner and offered his services to Rhyno, a man who has been on a losing streak and Rhyno accepted. This is the start of Beauty and the Man Beast. Rhyno seemed to take this partnership as a literal relationship to everyone's surprise.

  • Match 4: Anderson Haze defeated Adam Cole via Pinfall in a One on One Match

(Notes: Anderson Haze used very dirty tactics by first, putting his feet on the ropes and then finally gets the win when he had to roll up Adam Cole for a very controversial victory. Anderson Haze claims that he didn't cheat and the fans were verbally mad at Anderson Haze that night for trying to cheat to win.)

SmackDown LIVE:[10] Location: Cincinnati, OhioEdit

AC The God left the commentary booth he accuses the crowd of cheering the same "boring" superstar each and every week. He calls out Stardust due to an outside altercation that did not happen in SmackDown due to Stardust not being on the roster. They traded some words until AC The God told Shane McMahon he wants a match against Stardust. Shane agreed to the match officially and they would be having their match UP NEXT.

  • Match 1: Stardust defeated AC The God via Pinfall in a One on One Match

(Notes: Following this controversial ending with AC The God saying Stardust cheated by putting his glove spike in his eye. AC told Gabriel Donovans he would face him next week to shut down Stardust.)

Shawn Michaels came out and sounded quite intoxicated. He calls out the Intercontinental Champion, HHH saying he wants to slap some respect into him. HHH answered this challenge and told HBK that he was here to spice up the show since Shawn is so boring. HHH told Shawn that he's proud HBK passed 5th grade and told all the kids in the crowd to go to school and be successful. Following HBK threatening HHH by saying he isn't ready to face him, HHH low blows HBK leading to a beat down between the two ending with The IC Champion on top and Mickey Gall(SD Live referee) held HHH back.

  • Match 2: Randy Orton defeated Gabriel Donovans via Pinfall in a One on One Match
  • Match 3: Billy Gunn defeated Jack Swagger via Pinfall in a One on One Match

During this match, Road Dogg came out to watch his former partner compete. While Road Dogg tried to cost him, Billy was to steps ahead when he and Jack Swagger beat down on Road Dogg leading to Jack Swagger letting Billy hit him with the FameAsser in the middle of the ring so Billy could pin him starting the team, The Bad Ass-Mericans as Road Dogg just looked on in confusion.

Big Show White, the #1 Contender, made his way down to the ring saying he was taking over the show and refused to leave until AJ Styles, the "half-whitted moron", comes down to the ring while also calling Shinsuke Nakamura "talentless." Big Show said the cards aren't lined up for AJ to beat him, as soon as AJ Styles said "Jokes on you, I don't like cards." he levels the Big Show and then starts beating on him before his title defense against Shinsuke Nakamura later in the night.

  • Match 4: Sycho Sid eliminated Scott Hall in the Legends Contract Battle Royal

Participants:

  1. Sycho Sid
  2. Scott Hall
  3. "The Booty Man" Brutus Beefcake
  4. Eddie Guerrero
  5. Tatanka
  6. Earthquake
  • Match 5: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Shinsuke Nakamura defeated AJ Styles via Pinfall in a One on One Match

(Notes: This match made the Title match at the next PPV, a triple threat match.)

House Show: Location: San Diego, CAEdit

(Notes: Scott Hall's first time on the announce table to recap the results of the show.)

  • Match 1: Beauty and the Man-Beast defeated the Ascension via Pinfall in a Tag Team Match.
  • Match 2: American Alpha defeated The Vaudevillians via Pinfall in Tag Team Match.
  • Match 3: Scott Steiner defeated Dolph Ziggler via Pinfall in a One on One Match.

EPISODES 5Edit

sLamDown:[11]  Location: Cohasset, MA (Christmas Special)Edit

The begnning of the show starts with a big announcement that CFG would start their developmental program NXT for both brands sLamDown and SmackDown LIVE. Also "Gamebreaker" Baron Corbin wanted to be known as "Bane Corbin" it did not stick.

  • Match 1: Baron Corbin defeated Scott Steiner via Pinfall in a One on One Match

(Notes: Ricochet and Baron Corbin were announced for the Fatal 4 Way match for the NXT Title at NXT "Return".)

  • Match 2: Beauty and the Man-Beast defeated The Ascension via Pinfall in an Elimination #1 Contender Tag Team Match.
  • Match 3: NON TITLE: Becky Lynch(c) defeated Bayley via Submission in a One on One Match.

Asuka came out and pointed at Becky Lynch threatening to take her Women's Championship in the Women's Triple Threat Match at Judgement Day.

Before the next match Scott Hall and Terry Funk were announced to review the House Show Reports. They only lasted about 1 or 2 weeks.

  • Match 4: Adam Cole defeated Samoa Joe via Pinfall in a One on One Match.

(Notes: This match was the end of Samoa Joe's Winning Streak. Anderson Haze made this match with Alex to try to give Adam Cole some competition.)

  • Match 5: NON TITLE: Eddie Guerrero defeated Finn Balor(c) via Submission in a Triple Threat #1 Contender's Match for the Cruiserweight Title.

(Notes: Alex made this a #1 Contender's Match last minute before the match started.)A

Anderson Haze was not on commentary for a majority of this show which caused the fans to turn their backs on Anderson. They started chanting Bullet Club loudly. Anderson seemed not to care at all, turning him heel and the Bullet Club face.

SmackDown LIVE:[12  Location: Philadelphia, PA (Christmas Special)Edit

Sycho Sid made his way to the ring to start off the show. He talked about how much he dislikes poking bears and pursuing opportunities, also he believes there has been some "trifling" happening on SmackDown LIVE. He calls out Chris Jericho, the Lumbar Champion, saying it is "complete bullshit" he has been overlooked even though this is his first week on the roster. Jericho comes out to answer Sid talking crap to the fans trying to give his Gift of Jericho to the fans on the Christmas Special but they did not accept it. Sid keeps on babbling saying he works hard for SmackDown LIVE proclaiming that Chris Jericho "sucks" and Jericho offers him a job as the "Cuck of Jericho" and Sid thankfully denies. Sid continues to talk about his childhood as they have a dueling "quiet" chant. (This is the still the opening segment folks) Sid wanted Chris Jericho to "prove himself" to Sycho Sid, as the crowd chants "Shut your mouth" Chris Jericho looks absolutely pissed until Sycho Sid says "FUCK YOU!" and hits him in the face. To this day we don't understand why Sid called out Jericho.

  • Match 1: Seth Rollins w/ Roman Reigns defeated Dash Wilder w/ Scott Dawson via Pinfall in a One on One Match.
  • Match 2: Gabriel Donovans defeated Stardust via Pinfall in a One on One Match.

(Notes: Following this match the ref controversally reversed the decision because Gabriel Donovans' bandana got in Stardust's eye causing him to be unable to kick out.)

  • Match 3: New Evolution defeated Sycho Sid and HBK via Countout in a Tag Team Match.
  • Match 4: John Cena defeated Bray Wyatt via Pinfall in a One on One Match.

Road Dogg made his way down to the ring saying "Where's Billy, where's Billy. Oh you didn't know? Billy". Road Dogg was so mad saying that the fans were cowards for not helping him when Billy Gunn attacked him. Road Dogg took his pager out in the middle of the ring and said "Paging Billy Guuunn." Then Billy Gunn answered wearing new gear saying that if Road Dogg keeps doing what he has been doing then "I got two words for ya...THERE-IS-NO-GOING-BACK!" Obviously turning dumber afterleaving Road Dogg and joining the All-American Jack Swagger. Billy Gunn offered Road Dogg an apple after saying he sounds cranky because Dogg sounds hungry with Road Dogg responding calling him "precious." After some choice words, and Billy Gunn hitting reverse puberty, Billy Gunn attacked Road Dogg with a microphone.

  • Match 5: Big Show eliminated AJ Styles to become a #1 Contender for the WWE Title at Vengeance and another Title match at Tribute to the Troops.

NXTEdit

Edit

The WWE and T&A Brands both needed somewhere to get their new superstars from to build their futures. This place became NXT, where men and women could have the opportunity to impress either company and have the opportunity to show up on either sLamDown or SmackDown LIVE and become, possibly, the face of that company. Their first comeback show was "NXT: Return" which was voted as one of the best PPV's in CFG's Universe Mode with an all-star midcard and very impressive Main Event. No flaws were in NXT which is why fans were very confused as to why the CFG Network on YouTube decided to pull the plug on the program after just 2 episodes. The second episode is still yet to be released, but even though it isn't televised, NXT is still around and still their main developmental territory.
